Gourmet Experience – Country Hospitality

Graze Ballan

The Inner Central Highlands in Victoria is home to some of the best food and wine in Australia.

The shires of Moorabool, Ballarat, Golden Plains and Hepburn are abundant with artisan producers and hidden treasures. When visiting why not stay in a unique setting where you can experience all the region has to offer at your fingertips. You can explore all of the hidden corners yourself and self cater in the camp kitchen or take up the option to sit back, relax and savour the region’s finest produce prepared and served to you on site. The boutique accommodation at Graze–Ballan is eclectic, combining retro and vintage features. The gypsy van, sixties caravan and lounge/dining cabin is ideal for a couple, 2 couples, or a family to enjoy a true country glamping experience with an added touch of class. Being less than an hour from Melbourne, Tullamarine and Avalon makes it an ideal ‘getaway with a difference’ for locals and interstate visitors alike.

Graze-Ballan can also come to you..see all details on our catering page.

About Us

With a population just over 3,000 we love Ballan for its convenience, country charm and the many great offerings for weekend outings close at hand. We moved here for family reasons four years ago and found one of the few 5-acre properties remaining in the area.   Foodies and animal lovers at heart, we have decided to invite others to enjoy what we have.   We are proud parents to 7 chickens, 3 sheep, 3 goats, Colin the alpaca, 2 Muscovy ducks, 4 Guinea fowls, Misty the cat and new boss of the house, Daisy, a rescued working dog.  As previous café owners we love to cook and have spent endless weekends exploring the awesome local produce close by.  Daylesford and Ballarat are a mere 20 minutes’  from our property and are surrounded by other picturesque country towns offering some amazing scenery and nice surprises. To this day we are discvering more and more in the hidden corners of our region.

We look forward to sharing it with you soon.
